Was leading her on a trail all too different? I mean....come on? When we were out of site I halted Felicity, and threw her lead rope over her withers, I jumped up, and on her. I smiled to myself, and told Felicity to trot. She did and, I smiled...but when I heard hooves in the distance and I halter Felicity, and jumped off. I lead her forward realizing they were pretty far away. |

Because I was a newbie and didnt know many people and I promised Mr Connor I would go far or do much, he let me go out in the woods for a little bit. It shocked me that he said I could, but I wasn't about to argue. I was happy about it. I rode Chief down the path as he ambled along. I looked around, scanning the woods. After a bit, I heard noised and looked over and saw the figure of a girl riding her horse. I saw her jump off, hearing me and continue on. I made my way over to her quietly, Chief walking lazily still. I had a feeling she was doing something she shouldn't be, the way she jumped off so fast. I wasn't sure what though. |

I saw a small fallen log and looked at Felicity. "You wanna jump? Yeah, girly?" I smiled when Felicity pricked her ears eager to fly over the tiny log. I smiled and jogged forward, Felicity trotting easily beside me. I hopped over the log and felt a small tug on the lead as Felicity did too. She cantered forward and I ran along. Soon I told her whoa and we walked again. "Good girl." I said happily rubbing her. I looked behind and saw another horse and rider. I smiled, in a good mood for the first tie in...like, a week.

Coming out from the trees, I saw the girl cantering beside her horse. Um, dangerous? Yeah. She smiled at me. I gave her a tight closed mouth smile back as Chief tossed his head, seeing the other horse. I se-sawed the reins and he lowered his head. |

I had Cheif pick up a canter and we passed them in the small path because she refused to move her mutt of a horse. Cheif pinned his ears but i urged him forward.

I halted Felicity, dumb-struck. That did not just happen. bitch I thought, but I wasn't going to let it faze me. Felicity and I jogged on.

I didn't really want to start an argument or crap, but she urked me. And Id just won. I turned my head a little and smirked at her before continuing. After a little bit of slow, easy cantering, I slowed to a walk and let Chief have his head. |

I rolled my eyes hearing the girl's voice behind me. I whirled Chief around and he pinned his ears seeing the other 'horse' in front of him. "Says the girl cantering her horse over a jump while she's leading it. Retarded," I huffed. |

I rolled my eyes. "How do you think people train horses to jump from ground by themselves? THEY LEAD THEM OVER JUMPS! It's nothing someone else wouldn't do. Guess what? I have control of my horse too, just from a different angle that you do."
