Personality- Gia is very outgoing and loves to have fun. She never lets people get to her, except for one thing. When people make fun of her deafness. She can read lips, speak, and do sign-language, but has been completely deaf since she was two. She can make friends really easily with others. She's a little uncomfortable being in a room full of people who can all hear, though. When it comes to relationships, she can't really picture herself being with a "hearer." Unless of course they can sign. She has a way with animals and is VERY hard to be mad at. When you get personal with her, though, she gets really annoyed and hates answering things like "Why are you deaf" and "Isn't it so hard to be deaf?"

History- Gia was born in Orlando to a Hispanic family. Her parents looked nothing like her, with dark hair and olive complections. A few years ago they found out she was switched at birth, so her parents took home the wrong baby. They still haven't been able to contact her real parents. When she was two she contracted an infection that made her legally blind.
